Victoria’s Sister Structure

The second significant polymetallic system

Located ~4km north of the Victoria Deposit, the less explored Lalonde system is composed of similarly mineralized material and considered a sister structure to Victoria. There is potential that Victoria and Lalonde represent fold arms, with the nose to the east on the Canadian Malartic Mine property next door, however it is also important to note that the circular mass seen in the geophysical map above between Victoria and Lalaonde is also mineralized and virtually unexplored.

Mineralization at Lalonde has been sampled on surface, drilled and stripped by Renforth to the west and the east of the road up to 3km in each direction. Presently the polymetallic priority on the Malartic Metals Package property is the Victoria open pit deposit over ~2.5km and the balance of that ~20km structure. Lalonde and the additional polymetallic showings and structures (Fouillac, the mass between Victoria and Lalonde and other showings) are considered future follow up targets and sources of mineralized material subject to further exploration.
